Hill Gallery to Feature Artworks by Ralph Fasanella at the Outsider Art Fair
This weekend, the Hill Gallery of Birmingham, Michigan will be featuring several artworks by Ralph Fasanella at the Outsider Art Fair held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125W 18th Street NYC. Information and tickets are available at the link below:
On view in the Hill Gallery booth is a magnificent painting about the sexual revolution entitled Love Goddess (one of Ralph Fasanella’s masterworks) as well as several small portrait studies that have never before been brought to the art market. Throughout the run of the fair the artist’s son, Marc Fasanella, will be signing copies of Images of Optimism - the book he wrote about Ralph’s work. A limited set of offset lithograph reproductions of select paintings will also be available at the booth. If you are in or around NYC this weekend, please visit the Hill Gallery booth and meet Marc.
Later in the Spring, an extensive exploration of my father’s portraits can be seen at the exhibit Americans Unseen, opening at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, NY April 1st:
